Question my dachshund is just went into heat 2 days ago. i wanted to know what is the time frame to mate her? after heat? during heat? im not sure. if you could tell me that would be great. thanks
Answer Please forgive me for saying this -I see so many unwanted dogs and thousands are killed every day. It makes me sad to see so many people breeding their dogs. That being said, she could be in heat for 3 weeks and she will let the male know when she is ready. Usually breeders will allow the dogs to stay together for several days. Hope that helps!
