About Duke Ha
Expertise
I have extensive knowledge of the 1990's-Present Dallas Cowboys teams. Specifically, team uniforms, equipment, and so forth. I own numerous Cowboys memorabilia and would love to one day write a book on the evolution of the team's uniforms dating back to their inception in 1960. I may not be able to answer most Cowboys questions prior to the 1990's as I was but a youth at the time :-).

Experience
I make annual trips to see the Cowboys at Texas Stadium. I have a library of Cowboys books, dvd's and VHS tapes. I have recorded nearly all games dating back since the 1998 season. I am an artist, so most of my collections such as cards and photos are not for value, but rather for reference. I appreciate the asthetics of the Cowboys and the game of football. As a hobby, I customize and paint McFarlane Dallas Cowboy figures to near exact detail as their live counterparts. I own several game used items, autographs, and roughly 10-12 authentic jerseys with 3 different manufacturers.

Publications
I have no known publications. However, as of October 16, 2006, my written work and art has mostly been seen on the Wikipedia topic the Dallas Cowboys- uniforms/logos.

Education/Credentials
Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associates of Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Illustration. My dream would be, of course, to work for the Dallas Cowboys organization possibly for their marketing and design team. The Dallas Cowboys annual bluebooks and game programs have always interested me.

Question
Do you possibly know where I can find a "white body, Blue Sleeve" Apex double star cowboy jersey. I heard you were the best and an expert on the subject and I have written you before, but no reply. Please let me know sir. My email address is ntcrusher@hotmail.com

Answer
Hi David and thank you for the praise.  I like to think I know a little something on the subject, but there is always someone out there that knows more than yourself.  I am sorry your question was not answered the first time you asked, but I can assure you that, unless your question was rudely put, I would have attempted to answer it. :-)

Having said that, I wish I can be of help with finding a jersey for you, but since the Cowboys only wore the white "Double-Star" jerseys for the 1994 season and 1995 pre-season, it is a big task to find one these days.  But keep in mind it is not impossible.  Your best bet would to keep trying your search on Ebay as there is bound to be someone looking to sell his/her "Double-Star" jersey.

I recently have seen someone auctioning off a white "Double-Star" jersey (number 3) on Ebay, but it has since been removed or sold.  So the jerseys are still out there.  If money is not a factor for you then go to the Mitchell & Ness website.  If you don't know, they are a company based out of Philadelphia, PA that specializes in older or "throwback" memorabilia.  This past year they just released authentic 1994 white "Double-Star" versions of Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Michael Irvin jerseys.  These are not a pretty penny as I believe they cost around $300.00 each, but definitely worth it if you really want an authentic.  Be VERY careful of the bootleggers on Ebay because that's usually all I see.

Here are a couple of websites that may assist you in your search.

www.mitchellandness.com

www.nextleveltalk.com - a forum site that has alot of knowledgeable people and MAYBE someone that knows where to get a white "Double-Star"

www.jimyackel.com - this guy use to have TONS of Cowboy jerseys, but only has one now.  Who knows, he may get more.

Sorry I wasn't much help but thanks for asking and good luck with your search!!!  Take care.
