AboutDuke Ha Expertise I have extensive knowledge of the 1990's-Present Dallas Cowboys teams. Specifically, team uniforms, equipment, and so forth. I own numerous Cowboys memorabilia and would love to one day write a book on the evolution of the team's uniforms dating back to their inception in 1960. I may not be able to answer most Cowboys questions prior to the 1990's as I was but a youth at the time :-).
Experience I make annual trips to see the Cowboys at Texas Stadium. I have a library of Cowboys books, dvd's and VHS tapes. I have recorded nearly all games dating back since the 1998 season. I am an artist, so most of my collections such as cards and photos are not for value, but rather for reference. I appreciate the asthetics of the Cowboys and the game of football. As a hobby, I customize and paint McFarlane Dallas Cowboy figures to near exact detail as their live counterparts. I own several game used items, autographs, and roughly 10-12 authentic jerseys with 3 different manufacturers.
Publications I have no known publications. However, as of October 16, 2006, my written work and art has mostly been seen on the Wikipedia topic the Dallas Cowboys- uniforms/logos.
Education/Credentials Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associates of Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Illustration. My dream would be, of course, to work for the Dallas Cowboys organization possibly for their marketing and design team. The Dallas Cowboys annual bluebooks and game programs have always interested me.

Question Was Danny Chandler ever a player for the Dallas Cowboys?
Answer Hiya Cindy,
According to my Dallas Cowboys Media Guide, he is not listed as "officially" being part of the club. Now keep in mind that my Media Guide is from 2004 so it is not updated and I do know that WR Sam Hurd currently wears #17, but from 1960-2004 the only "official" players to wear that number were:
Don Meredith - QB - 1960-1968
Mike Clark - K - 1968-1971 and 1973
Harold Carmichael - WR - 1984
Jason Garrett - QB - 1993-1999
Quincy Carter - QB - 2001-2003
the only Chandler surname listed is a TE named Thornton Chandler out of Alabama from 1986-1989. Now also know that the Cowboys bring in about 80 or so players to Training Camp every year and slowly make roster cuts down to the mandated 53 during the season. This is not including some of the guys on the practice squad who may or may not be "official". So maybe he was one of these player? If not, unfortunately the Cowboys organization doesn't recognize him. Thanks for asking and take care.
