AboutDuke Ha Expertise I have extensive knowledge of the 1990's-Present Dallas Cowboys teams. Specifically, team uniforms, equipment, and so forth. I own numerous Cowboys memorabilia and would love to one day write a book on the evolution of the team's uniforms dating back to their inception in 1960. I may not be able to answer most Cowboys questions prior to the 1990's as I was but a youth at the time :-).
Experience I make annual trips to see the Cowboys at Texas Stadium. I have a library of Cowboys books, dvd's and VHS tapes. I have recorded nearly all games dating back since the 1998 season. I am an artist, so most of my collections such as cards and photos are not for value, but rather for reference. I appreciate the asthetics of the Cowboys and the game of football. As a hobby, I customize and paint McFarlane Dallas Cowboy figures to near exact detail as their live counterparts. I own several game used items, autographs, and roughly 10-12 authentic jerseys with 3 different manufacturers.
Publications I have no known publications. However, as of October 16, 2006, my written work and art has mostly been seen on the Wikipedia topic the Dallas Cowboys- uniforms/logos.
Education/Credentials Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associates of Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Illustration. My dream would be, of course, to work for the Dallas Cowboys organization possibly for their marketing and design team. The Dallas Cowboys annual bluebooks and game programs have always interested me.

Question Do you know of anyone who may have the white version of this jersey for sale at a reasonable price? size 52 XL Bates,Johnston,Novacheck or Aikman personalized. Stitched name & numbers etc....no screened ons......Do you know if Apex is still in business?
Thanks
Answer Hi Leonard,
Nice taste in jerseys as that is my personal favorite. Unfortunately I do not know of a place that carries or sells these jerseys anymore because Apex One, went out of business before the 1995 season. That is why you did not see any manufacturer logo on the Dallas Cowboy uniforms during the 1995 season. No manufacturer logo was present until the 1996 season when Nike officially outfitted the team.
Your best bet, like most, would be to scan Ebay because occasionally someone has one laying around that they want to get rid of. But unfortunately most if not 95% of the "Double-Star" jerseys on there are all fakes. I am not sure what your budget is, but unfortunately to obtain an authentic white "Double-Star" 14 years after the team wore them, is really going to be up there in price as well as hard-to-find. If you know of Mitchell and Ness, then hopefully you know that they recreated the authentic white "Double-Star"s last season. All that were made were for the Triplets of Emmitt, Aikman, and Irvin.
Since it is Mitchell and Ness, they are pretty pricey going for about $300.00 and unfortunately the NFL does not make a "replithentic" version like they do of today's jersey and since the team no longer wears this style of uniform. I personally hope Jerry Jones allows the team to wear them them again when they open the new stadium next year cause you never know with Jones, he markets the team so well. I am sorry I was not of much help but I wish you luck in your search and thanks for asking!!! Take care
