AboutDuke Ha Expertise I have extensive knowledge of the 1990's-Present Dallas Cowboys teams. Specifically, team uniforms, equipment, and so forth. I own numerous Cowboys memorabilia and would love to one day write a book on the evolution of the team's uniforms dating back to their inception in 1960. I may not be able to answer most Cowboys questions prior to the 1990's as I was but a youth at the time :-).
Experience I make annual trips to see the Cowboys at Texas Stadium. I have a library of Cowboys books, dvd's and VHS tapes. I have recorded nearly all games dating back since the 1998 season. I am an artist, so most of my collections such as cards and photos are not for value, but rather for reference. I appreciate the asthetics of the Cowboys and the game of football. As a hobby, I customize and paint McFarlane Dallas Cowboy figures to near exact detail as their live counterparts. I own several game used items, autographs, and roughly 10-12 authentic jerseys with 3 different manufacturers.
Publications I have no known publications. However, as of October 16, 2006, my written work and art has mostly been seen on the Wikipedia topic the Dallas Cowboys- uniforms/logos.
Education/Credentials Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associates of Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with emphasis in Illustration. My dream would be, of course, to work for the Dallas Cowboys organization possibly for their marketing and design team. The Dallas Cowboys annual bluebooks and game programs have always interested me.

Question I heard a rumor that the Cowboys would be coming out with new uniforms in 2009, when they start play in the new stadium. Do you know if that's true?
Answer Hi Mike,
Sorry, I have not heard anything as of yet, but to be honest it wouldn't surprise me. Jerry Jones does an excellent, maybe the best, job marketing the Dallas Cowboys franchise.
- When the Cowboys won back-to-back Superbowls in XXVII and XXVIII, he introduced the white "Double-Star" on Thanksgiving Day in 1994 to commemorate the victories.
- In 1996, when Nike made the Cowboy jerseys, he finalized the design for the current navy "Stars n' Stripes" jerseys.
- In 2001-2003, he chose to have the team wear the navy "Double-Star" for Thanksgiving and the NFL's Classic Throwback Weekend.
- In 2004 he finally brought back the 1960-1963 throwbacks on Thanksgiving.
So you know Jerry's mind is always tinkering and I wouldn't doubt seeing our 'Boys coming out of the tunnels in 2009 with new duds. I would imagine the change wouldn't be too dramatic as the Dallas Cowboy uniforms are classic and traditional. If anything, since we usuallu wear white at home, he might finally decide to have the team wear the white version of our current throwbacks (white body with blue sleeves that we have yet to wear but was sold to the public and is available as a uniform option in the Madden 2008 video game).
My wish is for him to just bring back the 1994 white "Double-Star" the team wore for only one season. The only rumor I have heard, but what has been going on for about 3 years now, is that the Cowboys will finally go to one color blue (navy) and one color silver. Personally, I think that would be terrible since the team would resemble the Oakland Raiders from afar. The royal blue color and the metallic silver-green pants are as much the team as white, navy and silver. The team's helmet isn't even a pure silver as it shows a slight tint of blue as well. Just my two cents. Well sorry I wasn't much help but I guess we'll both find out in 2009. Take care and thanks for asking!!!
