My particular expertise is Cowboys history from 1960-1988 (the Landry era); I'm also a Cowboys book fanatic (I have almost 200 different Cowboys-related titles), and I also collect Cowboys football cards (but stopped in 93). But I am not an expert in the value of cards or collectibles – so please don't ask.

A friend and I are debating over a couple of players and their jersey numbers. I know Randy White was # 54, Too Tall was # 72, Who wore # 78, and was Harvey Martin # 79?

You are correct that Randy White wore #54 (1975-88), Too Tall wore #72 (1974-89, except 1979) and Harvey Martin wore #79 (1973-83).

John Dutton wore #78 (1979-1986). All were members of what is unofficially referred to as "Doomsday II". Larry "Bubba" Cole wore #63 and spanned both the original Doomsday Defense and Doomsday II (1968-80).
