Question I am 25 years old and just recently started watching Dallas episodes on Soap net. I remember some of the shows as a little girl, anyway I was wondering If Jock really died on the show, because I remember being small and Ms. Ellie was remarried to Clayton but Jock came back, or am I wrong, please help!

Yes, Jim Davis had become ill and could no longer do the show, so when Jock went to South America on a business trip they wrote in a storyline about his plane going down in the jungle somewhere. Jim Davis passed away in real life that same year, and eventually Jock was declared dead on the show after his body never turned up.
