Question I was wondering what happens to Katherine to get her off the show, I know she never ends up with Bobby so I am curious as to how she makes her exit.
Answer Hi Linda...
Well, it was Katherine that ran over and killed Bobby in the 1985 season cliffhanger. She also died after the car crashed after she hit him. However, since Bobby's death was just Pam's dream, that event never really took place so neither were dead. She was assumed to be in a mental institution, since she had shot Bobby a couple years earlier.
In 1987, after Pam's car accident, Pam is attended to by a nurse that is presumed to be Katherine although we never know for sure. The nurse takes Pam out of the hospital and vanishes. Both were gone. That is where both of their characters are left.
