Expert: MartinStJohn Date: 4/29/2008 Subject: 90's maybe??? Piano solo?
Question Ok, so I was watching this video on Youtube of this dance crew that I really like and they got to this one part in their performance(starts around 3:45ish) where they dance to this fast/dance , R&B song that's sang by a woman and in the beginning it sounds like she's saying "It's alright, I feel it...stand up!". It definitely sounds 90s or late 80ish and the reason that I think it was around this time is that it has like that funky piano solo type thing that was kinda common around that time. Here is the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFJ1Ec2mzEE&feature=related
Please watch it and help me! I really hate not being able to find what I am looking for. ;={
Answer i wish i could help you..i watched the video, but the sound is so distorted and distantly recorded..and all the crowd noise is captured more than the music..if i could remove the crowd noise, maybe i could make it out what the woman's saying..the piano break sounds familiar like a lot of Frankie Knuckles style playing on his midtempo chicago house jams from the late 80s early 90s. Nothing in other words sounds all that distinct to me.
sorry i couldn't be of more help.
