Question Looking for a song that I used to have on 12" vinyl. Have no idea of the title or the artist. Chorus was along the lines of "Bass, how low can you go? LOW LOW LOW LOW! Bass, how low can you go? How low can you go.... BASS, BASS BASS BASS"
Another hint... I'm quite certain that the beat was sampled from Africa Bambattas "Looking for the perfect beat"
I also think there was a break in the song where they mixed.... "scratchin and mixin aahhhhhh freakout. mixin and scratchin..(Some scrathes now)
Oh, and it is not the Simon Harris Bass How low can you go.
Any ideas??
Answer I was about to say Simon Harris..but since you said it ain't him..then i'm scratching my head on this one. That sample was lifted from a Public Enemy record and abused on so many tracks it's almost impossible to pinpoint any one song. It could be anything from Daddy O and the Ant Man to DJ magic mike to Techmaster PEB to Richie Rich. I don't think it's Beat Dis by Bomb da Bass or Pump up the Volume by Marrs. But this song definitely falls into the category of similar UK tracks like that...or either miami bass like Magic Mike, Bose, Daddy O and Ant Man, Magotron, etc.
