Question
Hi!
I was wondering how you got into the line of work. managing data centers i mean. Is there a specific field I should look into?
thanks,
Nathan

Answer
Well, my situation is rather unique. There was a need at my company and I just started doing it. Eventually they offered me the newly created position.
However, I suppose a start would be in the electrical engineering or facilities management fields. both could be stepping stones into a data center management role.
hope this helps,
dAve
