Kristen -- This will test you!  I am an Avid DMB fan (as so many
are!). I'm also a professional bassist - acoustic that is - with an
emphasis on strong Rock and Contemporary Grooves.

When the last Dave and Tim compilation came out (Stay or
Leave...), just for practice I played with it. Then I went into a
studio and recorded my String Bass parts and mixed it in with
Dave and Tim - turned out quite well and much fuller.

I'd love to share this with them (and you if you wish). What is the
best way to get this directly to Dave? (and avoid the
gatekeepers!)

Hi Richard!  Well, that is a good question.  I wish I personally knew Dave to call him up and get his address so you could send the song to him cause I'm sure it sounds great, but unfortunately, I don't know Dave personally.  What I can say from experience is to try and show up really early for a concert or stay later when it's over and see if you can run into one of the band members.  I've been going to DMB concerts for years and one time I was really early for a show and Dave's bus pulled up and I got to meet him, so it can and does happen.  You could also try the DMB Warehouse Fan Club at P.O.
