Hi I love every little piece of music they make.
I just want to know who Grace is and what happened?

Hey Dan, Grace is actually nobody, and nothing happened!  Dave uses alot of metaphors in his music, and this is one of them.  The term "Grace" is actually a term he uses to describe woman in general.  In this song he's talking about women he's lost, either loved and lost, or lost from his life.  Grace is nobody specific, but he did name one of his twins Grace. :)

I have been a loyal Dave Matthews Band fan (even through the Everyday album) and will be able to answer questions about the guys, their personal lives, past performances and other interesting little known facts.
