well, you seem to be the Dave expert, i was wondering if you could help me on a few things, i was wondering if there is any way to find a adresse to dave that wont just lead to the other thousands of unreaad letters i feel like the letter i am writing him is very important and i would really like for him to read it, so if you have that i would appreciate. it.  Also, i was wondering a little more about his history in Africa, like some of the stuff he went through, and maybe any  more information about the deaths in his family i am doing a report on him and it would be really helpful. i would like to know what his view point on things such as religoin and purpose of life are. SO all this would be much appreciated thanks, fellow dave fan.

It's tough to find an address because the band isn't found of regular mail anymore because of anthrax issues and stuff.  They pretty much are just accepting email.

Basically his history in Africa is that he was born there and then he moved to NYC at around age 5 until he was 12 and moved back to South Africa.  His dad died in NYC so his mother decided to move back.  The other death in his family was his sister Anne who was murdered by her husband and then her husband committed suicide.

Religion is a thing Dave believes in, but thinks many things are unnecessary.  He believes in God, but thinks church and other things are very useless.

His purpose of life is pretty much to be happy and do whatever you can.  Don't be afraid of death because it is going to happen.

One great thing to watch would be VH1's "Driven".  It has all the information you would need.
