I was wondering if you knew if Dave Matthews wrote the song "Joy Ride". I couldn't find out on the DMB website.

Yes, Dave wrote Joy Ride. It was supposed to be on the Stand Up album but didn't make the cut and is on the B-side of a Companion CD. I found that out at www.dmbalmanac.com. If you have any questions about when a song was played, how many times the song was played, the various lyrics that are given to the live versions...you can go there. They have the guys tours maped out from 1991 to 2006.
