I was just wondering if you could help me out on how Dave came about writing the lyrics to Ants Marching. I also was wondering if you could analyze the lyrics for me so I can compare what I think they mean.

I do not know Dave's thought process but i know he is a genius.  Ants Marching is about people and how they don't see the importance in their lives and they go about doing their day to day chores not stopping to small the flowers.  That is all that i really know.
