Hello Grace. I am an aspiring song writer and the Dave Matthews
Band has been a huge inspiration for me. They are my favorite
band. I have recently come across some old footage of the song
"once on a wild afternoon." I have been learning this song by ear
to play at open mics. Do you know about how many times this
song was played and where I can find guuitar tabs for it?

Well, I can help you on half of this question and maybe from there you can find the rest of your answer.  If you go to www.dmbalmanac.com, you can find how many times the song had been played.  But seeing as how I'm not a guitarist, I have no idea where to find the tabs.  But you can try searching at Google for Dave Matthews Band guitar tabs and what not.
