Experience I have been an avid Dave listener for four years, my brother got me into his music, we went to his last concert here together, I have all of his albums including Boyd's True Reflections, and can name almost all of his songs when i hear only about ten seconds or less of them.
Question Hi, I am writing a paper on Dave's song "Save Me" and I was wondering if you knew the meaning behind it, or why Dave wrote it.

Answer Dave said in an interview that the song was about Jesus' walk through the desert. You can see it in the lyrics, such as "You don't have to prove a thing to me just give me faith make me beleive." I guess the way to put it is it's like Dave talking to Jesus in His walk through the desert. It's a very deep and meaningful song to Dave in regards to his faith.
