Joseph,
Can you enlighten me on the basis of the song "Say Goodbye?" Why is DM writing/singing about having an affair? Did DM have an affair? Did he have personal issues that prompted this song?
FYI - I'm a "new" listener to DM, but I like other bands that have meaning/cause/passion (i.e. Midnight Oil, Live, U2).
I'm anxious for your response.

The song is about 2 friends. One of which wants to hook up with the other. He asks her and then tries to convince her that just for one night we can be lovers. I dont think that he ever had an affair, the song is probably from an earlier experience or fictional.
