Experience I have been an avid Dave listener for four years, my brother got me into his music, we went to his last concert here together, I have all of his albums including Boyd's True Reflections, and can name almost all of his songs when i hear only about ten seconds or less of them.
Question DMB's spoon is one of my favorite songs that they sing, but I have a question about it, what is it about? I mean I have my ideas but I am not sure, so I would like to here what you have to say about it.

Answer I think it's about looking at things on a smaller scale, instead of looking at the big picture, to take notice of everyday things from a religious standpoint (as well as non religious), and really noticing them, not just passing them off as we tend to, but that's just my opinion.
