Question
Many of the band's, moreover Dave's, lyrics lead me to believe
that Dave is or was a believer (or Christian). He or someone he
has collaborated with in writing some of his songs describe
some in-depth incites from the Bible. i.e. Bartender, Stand Up,
Hunger For the Great Light & Everybody Wake Up to name a few.
Is Dave or any of his bandmates a Christian(s)? Either way he
seems to be a very humble and classy performer.
Thanks for any information on this topic!
PS You can tell any one who thinks this new album stinks to
catch DMB live... it'll quickly change their mind. Best group ever!

Hello Drew!  I do not know for sure if Dave or any of the guys are Christian.  They don't talk too much about personal stuff like that.  Although I have no proof that Dave is Christian, I believe he is because of the songs he writes, including the examples you gave.  There are more songs of Christian or Bible descent on Dave's solo album, "Some Devil."  I would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already.  I also definitely agree with you that checking the band out live will change anyone's mind that dislikes the "Stand Up" album!  Thanks for your question!
