Near the end of this song, Dave and carter both sing what sounds like "my life is toddya". im sure thats not what they are saying. Can anyone help me figure it out and what the meaning is?

Hey I listened to the ending of the song and tried to find the part of the song your a speaking of and I believe it is when the sing "My love I love to stay here". That the onyl part towards the end of the song or throughout the whole song that Carter and Dave sing at the same time.

As for the songs meaning, it is believed to be about a pink warehouse down on south street in Charlottesville, Viginia where the band originated. I do believe that this is where the bands first gig was; On the roof of this warehouse during a party. The song is also about lifes ups and downs that may relate back to the warehouse. For instance, in this portion fo the lyrics:

There he talks of how he loves the Warehouse and how hard it is to let it go. This song i really tricky to interpret. Daves songs usualy have a main theme but Dave never gets into the meanings of his songs too deep and has alawys said that he leaves that up to the listener.
