I have noticed in the CD covers that All Along the Watchtower was written by Bob Dylan. Did Dave remake that song? What's the story?

Hi Jill! Here is a great link to read up on this song. It was written by Bob Dylan and many artists have remade the song including Jimi Hendrix and DMB.
