Experience I have been an avid Dave listener for four years, my brother got me into his music, we went to his last concert here together, I have all of his albums including Boyd's True Reflections, and can name almost all of his songs when i hear only about ten seconds or less of them.
Question I am doing a seven page term paper for my final language compostion paper for senior year. We are told to do the following:
1. analize the lyrics to a 20th century song writer (i chose dave)
2. Explain why this atrist has had an impact on thier listeners and why ther are important
3.how thier lyrics reflect thier life

Answer His lyrics can touch people like no other, he writes from his heart, and from his personal experiences, a lot of his songs are based off what he has lived in his life. Probably 99% of his songs came out of something that happend to him or a close family member or friend. Dave is a really inspirational writer in that sense, his songs can make someone's day better, as it has mine many times before, and can definitly change someone's life (as many fans have said before) Dave was an excellent choice, good luck.
