I am not a huge fan, but I once heard a dave song that ends with the refrain being repeated over and over and dave singing "i don't want to see you go, sitting on my patio" I've asked many people and have searched discogrophies to no avail. I also know in the beginning he says something about a girls flower dress, do you know the tune???

Hi Ryan,

I've not heard the song you're talking about.  It's not on any of the albums, nor are they "common" lyrics to any song that's only been played live recently.  It's possible what you remember are improvised lyrics for the specific performance of the song you heard.  It's also possible it wasn't Dave at all, but just sounded like his voice.  Sorry I couldn't be more help, but if I come across this song I'll let you know.
