hi im marliz and i just have a quick question i just got the new dmb album stand up and i love it but, i was just wonderin what dream girl was about and if you happened to know. iv heard what most of the songs are about more or less but i havent heard anything bout that song and it s my  fav can u help? thanks

Hi Marliz!  I haven't heard anything specific about this song from Dave himself, but myself and the majority of the people seem to agree that this song is about a deep infatuation with the one he not only loves, but lusts after too - someone he sees as his friend as well.  She's his dreamgirl in every way possible.  Even though there is crappy stuff going on in the world, he still has his dreamgirl and best friend.  Hope this helps you!  Thanks for your question!
