About Anne Dalmadge Expertise I can Answer any questions about lyrics, songs, albums, or pretty much any questions about the band, but my strong subject is lyrics and songs.
Experience I have been an avid Dave listener for four years, my brother got me into his music, we went to his last concert here together, I have all of his albums including Boyd's True Reflections, and can name almost all of his songs when i hear only about ten seconds or less of them.
Question ok, i have two questions. one is what is "you pay for what you get" about. is it about his sister? i'm not too sure, someone told me that once, i just didn't know. my second thing is i'm in the warehouse, i have been for four years now, i really love dave, and although i'm no expert on him, it doesn't mean i don't love and appriciate his music...i'm sure you know that, anyway, i'm not sure if you're in it or what, but i've noticed that every year i'm in, my tickets for his shows seem to be getting farther and farther away. one year seems to be worse than the last. my question is, if they're so determined to get you to renew, so not to give up your seniority, why do they give me worse tickets than last year? i've been in a year longer and my tickets got worse! that really pisses me off. i'm calling ticket master tomorrow to see if i could get better tickets just taking my chances. just frustrated and wondering if you might have experienced the same thing.
Answer I don't beleive Pay for What You Get is about Anne. As for the Warehouse, the thing is, the big problem we have here is the Warehouse members snatch up all the tickets before the general public does, so where I live I'm lucky to even get tickets (I obviously don't belong) So a big problem might be just that other people are getting the better tickets first, I don't think they take senority into effect, more of a first come first serve deal. I know when the sale to the general public comes, you get a little lotto number, then they randomly call them to get your tickets. It's very frustrating, last year I almost didn't get my tickets cause my older brother is a moron and we got there late, but by some twist of fate some random girl handed us a lotto umber she found and it was the third one they called. The best thing to do is write an email to the Warehouse, if ticketmaster has tickets, they are going to suck even worse than you can imagine (like if it's in a place like the Pepsi Center you'd be seated behind the band) So I would hang onto any tickets you have, and write an email to the Warehouse, they should reply in a day or so. Good luck.
