Answer
Hi Erin,
The lyrics to "The Idea of You" change (slightly) from night to night.  Since it hasn't been recorded for an album yet, there are no fixed lyrics.  Here's an attempt at deciphering the lyrics from the second time it was played, on June 3, 2006:

And so it goes, head up again
I wish I was young I could be in your class
Oh but I'm a stalking man
I watch you climb on your bus
It's how I raise my hand away
You got me feeling like a kid
Oh I'm knocking on
So I'm not gonna pull your hair

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
That’s why with you I can say what I mean
Want to stay but I think I'm getting out of here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Here you come again
(?)
I got (?)
I'm playing it like I can
Oh you are the queen I could be your king
I got you by a couple of years
Oh no I'm not a kid
So I'm not gonna pull your hair

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
That’s why with you can say what I mean
Want to stay but I think I'm getting out of here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Oh bad oh (?)
You're a flame and I could name you
Roll it, bust out
Dream of me
Well, could you laugh at
That dirty man next door has got me tripping
I think, don't you?
Ahh ha yeah

I fall so hard inside the idea of you
That’s why with you can say what I mean
Want to stay but I think I'm getting out of here
I fall so hard inside the idea of you

Hope this helps,
Andy
