what is 'jimi thing'? what is the song talking about? thanks a lot.

Jimi Thing is a song about drugs basically. But a positive drug experience unlike "Rhyme and Reason" which is also a song about drugs but with a less prefered outcome.
"Lately I've been feeling low/A remedy is what I'm seeking/Take a taste of what's melow/Come away to something better."
"Smoke my mind/makes me feel better for a short time."
Dave has said that it's one of DMB's two "hippie songs". I am unsure of the other one he is talking about but I'm guessing "Tripping Billies"
As for what a "Jimi Thing" really is, I am going to take it as some sort of drug. Which drug? Who knows.
