What is your interpretation of the lyrics for Old Dirt Hill - is it more like, give me some more of your love... or more like, you've lost that lovin feeling?

Hi Erinn!  I think the song is a little bit "you've lost that lovin' feeling."  What I get from the song, is a longing for childhood - remembering what used to be and wanting it back.  All of Dave's songs are open for interpretation, but that's what I get from the song.  Thanks for your question!
