Dave Matthews Band/pantala naga pampa

Question
what does it mean and what is the meaning of the song?

Answer
Hey Scott!

Pantala Naga Pampa means I have an anaconda in my pants.  At least that's what I've read.  The story goes as such...the band was eating at this restaurant and the cook (or maybe it was the waiter...) kept saying it.  Dave asked what it meant and that's what the man told him, I have an anaconda in my pants.

And as for the meaning of the song, I think since it's at the beginning of the album it's sort of an invite.  Come and hang out, listen to the album, and just let the worries leave you.  Just relax and enjoy the music.

Thanks for the question and I hope I helped!

I can answer questions about Dave Matthews Band and Dave Matthews. I can help people understand the lyrics. I can also give them a little bit of useless information.

Experience

I've been a fan of the Dave Matthews Band since I passed by my brother's room one night on the way to the bathroom almost 8 years ago. I fell out of the DMB circle for about 2 years but I'm back in full swing and have caught up on most of the goodness.
