I've been trying to find the song that Joey picked on the jukebox at Hell's Kitchen and finally played when Dawson was there. She explains that it was on in the car when Dawsons mum had picked them up and he'd held her hand to run to the car. Other sites said it was Sophie B Hawkins 'As i lay me down' but thats not it.
Answer It was definitely Sophie B Hawkins - As I Lay Me Down. I know the song by heart and that is one of my favorite scenes from the show. Is there anyway you could be mistaken? Or possibly there was a different song playing on the jukebox and you thought that was the one she was talking about? I'm 100% positive the song Joey picked was As I Lay me Down. Let me know if you have any lyrics or artist male/female.... maybe we can get to the bottom of this mystery!
