a friend and i are working on a way to receive stock & commodity quotes via text messaging on the cell phone. do you think this is a good idea to market in the stock trading industry? we are looking at a price of $7/month to each customer?

Receiving stock quotes on a cell phone is definately a good idea, but couldn't people with newer phones just check the quotes from yahoo?  I'm not sure people would pay extra for something they could get for free.  Many people who need real-time quotes aren't going to leave the house during trading hours anyway.  There's definately a demand, I'm just not sure that it isn't already being served some other way, I don't know anything about cell phones so you'll have to be the judge.
