Deafness/Hearing Impairment/life with sshloss

Hello I suffered sshloss in right ear last May. I was on steroids and fortunately recovered well and very lucky because I was deaf on left ear since childhood (maybe born with it)....I do my best to protect it now and wear earplug everytime I go out.Today in Greece is a national day and I went to see my sons parade !! Unfortunately there were a few schools 4-5 I think that had marching bands !my phone app recorded the decibel at 90!! Will I be ok ? I wore my earplug and also pressed it shut with my finger.

You should be fine.  You have to be around 90 decibels for 8 hours before permanent hearing damage occurs.  If you had any type of earplug in then you should have been well protected.

Thank you for your question.
