My boyfriend and I have been going out for three years. After a year and a half we broke up for 4 months because I had held hands with a guy, had a crush on a girl and was very possessive of him. While we were going out, these girls whom he worked with him liked him (and told him, but he said he was with me), and one of them kept flirting with him all the time, he never told her to stop. When we got back together, I didn't want him talking to these girls, because it made me uncomfortable and him being the super nice guy that he is, I understand that it must be hard not to flirt with him or like him, I just don't trust the girls, and if they flirt he doesn't stop them or doesn't realize. Now after almost two years of being back together, I told him I didn't care anymore, I was tired of stressing out so much. i told him I wouldn't be possessive and jealous anymore, that if he wanted to talk to girls, that I wouldn't care. After saying that, 2 days later I find him on msn talking to who? to those two girls! Even though i said i didn't care, i do, i don't want to but it' so hard!....like of all the people on his list, he had to go talk to THEM. IS he testing me or something? Anyway I sat on the couch and watched TV and didn't say a word. I had asked him before to do dishes, when I asked him again, he said ya wait you know my friends are not always there when i wanna talk to them like urs are. And I had told him before I was going to sleep at 11pm it was 1015, he still hadn't said bye to them yet or did dishes. when i reminded him i was going to bed in 45 minutes he was like oh ya...i forgot. He reminds me everyday that he loves me and would never hurt me, so why do I keep freaking out when he's being really nice to his girl friends. (The bad part is that im the same with my guy friends) How can I stop being insecure whenever he talks to girls (whether they like im or used to, or don't even) and wanting to know every word of their conversations. please help:(

If he constantly reassures your that he loves you, you need to sit back and enjoy the ride. Do not stress anymore, if you feel that his girl friends like him, thats unfortunete for them since he's yours. You should be having a little laugh with yourself right now, since thats the truth, he belongs to you and hes made that clear by coming back to you over time.
