Question
Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost a year now, and we have run into problems. i have always been a jealous and insecure person and have always had a hard time trusting girlfriends, i don't know what brings on these feelings and i hope that i can move past this because it puts a lot of stress on my relationships. recently my girlfriend started a new retail job where she works with a lot of guys and has a lot of guy friends, this started upsetting me when she always wanted to hang out with them, but i told her it made me uncomfortable if she were with another guy alone. so she continues to hang out with a group of friends(guys and girls) and i keep thinking that she is just going there to see those guys, and she tells me she doesn't want me to come hang out because she doesn't feel she can be herself in front of me. i know she does not find them attractive, but i cant help to think she might like one of them. and recently she has lied about him being there, and hides that she talks to them from me. i know that she loves me and we talk about marriage a lot, but him afraid that the strain from my insecurities is going to drive us apart. i really don't like not trusting and feeling like this anymore. i would appreciate any and all help. thank you
