Question I have been involved with my boyfriend for almost six months. He is different
than any other guy I have ever dated, in more ways than one. But he is so
jealous of everything. In the beginning he didn't express these feelings but it
wasn't long before he became very possessive. And recently he accused me of
cheating on him stating someone he knew saw me and a mystery man locking
lips in public. Let me be the first to say I would never cheat on my boyfriend.
I respect him too much to do something like that. Further more, I don't even
talk to many of my old guy friends for the simple fact I know he doesn't like
it. I think I was able to convince him I was in fact telling the truth. My
question is, Why is he so jealous and so untrusting of me when I have given
him no reason whatsoever to be this way?
Answer Dear Lauren,
Some guys naturally get jealous. I think yours just takes it to an extreme. You should sit down and have a conversation with your boyfriend about his attitude. and try explaining to him, that he needs to trust you. You need to tell him that you can't handle his jealousy and him being so possessive over you, but at the same time tell him you care about him too.
