Question Hi Julianna. I hope you can tell me what I can do to fix this. See, I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. However, I live in the US and he lives in Europe and I've been trying to get him here to live with me for the last year but it has been kind of hard because I had to get a passport,ect. So hopefully, this year I will be able to. Anyways, I just wanted to throw that in there because I'm not sure if that's the reason {being far apart} why I get so jealous every single time he TALKS about a girl, or TO a girl. For example, my boyfriend's boss threw a party for opening a billiards club and my boyfriend mentioned to me that he slow danced with a collegue at that party because
they were the only ones left at the table not dancing and the girl asked him to and he didn't want to say "no". I guess it's not such a bad thing but I went crazy. I just kept picturing this girl and my guy dancing and I would get so mad!! I would keep asking questions like "so did u hold her hand?" or "did u talk to her while dancing" things like that and my boyfriend would get mad and be like "stop thinking that stuff, you know I love you." And I would stop for a little while but it stills bugs me inside and I can't stop hurting... Even when he just talks to a girl for some time and I see them lauphing, I can't help but get jealous.
I see that it's a problem because we've been getting in fights a lot and that is because I get jealous TOO MUCH about everything. About any little thing. This past summer we went to the beach in Bulgaria with 2 other friends (a boy and a girl). The girl was my boyfriend's other collegue and the guy was her ex-boyfriend. Every time she'd come into our room and talked to him, I'd get jealous and think of something to get her OUT. Every time she was wearing a bathing suit in front of us, I'd get jealous and try to keep his attention all to me and interrupt them when they talked. Every time they just TALKED and I see them lauphing or having a good time, I get jealous and I wish she wasn't there. There is nothing that I have against her specifically, it's that to any girl that gets close to my boyfriend. If I see a girl calling him or he calling a girl, I get jealous. It's crazy. Am I sick or something? Sometimes I get so jealous I start crying and it hurts. It's not that he did anything, I just hurt because of that jealosy. Then I take it out on him. Please help me or tell me a strategy or something to get that fixed. I don't want our relationship to fall apart just because I'm being jealous of every girl
around him.

Heres the deal, the moment you get these feelings of jealousy towards the girl or your boyfriend. Just Breathe. Think, is it really worth losing a relationship over some girl. He's yours, remember that. You already have him, you don't need to worry or compete with other girls for his attention, he's YOUR boyfriend. Obviously, you come first in his life, and you should have the guilty pleasure of that. Don't spoil it by getting angry over random girls. Hope I helped. Write to me again if you need more help.
