Question My boyfriend and i are 2 very jealous people. We've been together for over a year now, and i can't stand seeing him with girls and he can't stand seeing me with guys..
bt it doesnt really bother me until i see him hug them. but he is way worse than me! With him i can't even talk to a guy without getting acused of flirting.. We nearly broke up last night over it.. bt we have both agreed that if we're going to make it work that we are going to have to get over our jealousy and trust one another! But for some reason i can still see him getting jealous and me too but i won't say anything i'll keep it inside but i can see him saying something! I really love him guys! i wanna make this work if he gets jealous again i need some advice.

Since you are in a relationship with him (and he is in a relationship with you) you should both respect each other's boundaries. If seeing him hug another woman makes you uncomfortable, he should put an end to that. There are other ways for him to greet women (handshake, wave, simply saying "hi"). Same goes with you...if there are things you do with other men that makes him uncomfortable, put an end to it. It's easy for both of you to say "I will not be jealous anymore" however, if this is how you have always been, it will take time for both of you to change. While you are both learning how to overcome jealousy, it would be a good idea to avoid hugging or even having long conversations with the opposite sex until this issue gets resolved.
As far as how to overcome jealousy, you both need to understand that you are in a trusting, committed relationship and there will no cheating. You have to TRUST each other. Without trust, honestly, there cannot be a happy ending.
