Question QUESTION: I got so mad today... well not mad but upset. My ex friend can sing really well, and I guess I've always been jealous of her voice but I thought I was passed it.. it's weird because I liked her as more of a friend yet I am still "jealous" of her gift to sing, and today I felt betrayed kind of because everyone was cheering for her on stage, and it was so bad that I wanted to cut myself really bad, and just cause myself and her pain....I pinched and stabbed myself throughout the whole performance, and had my arms folded even though I was sitting right by her and my other 2 friends, and.. I just want these feelings to go away forever.
ANSWER: Hi Tasha,
Do you get any attention from anyone in your life? (parents, family, friends, teachers, etc).

QUESTION: Yeah.. that's why I don't get it. My life isn't horrible, and it might not be super awesome but it's not terrible. And I do not envy her life or anything.
Answer It could mean one of two things:
1) You frequently get attention and are a little jealous that this is the one time you are not center of attention, or
2) You wish you could sing just as well as her. So it's not that you are jealous of her attention, but jealous of her voice.
