Question
I am having a problem trusting my boyfriend. We have been dating for 8 months now and live together. When we first started dating he went on a bachelor cruise with some friends and took all these pict. of all these girls on the boat they were parting with even on of this girl swinging around a pole in her bed room! (He said his friend had the camara half the night I dont belive him) He didnt call me the entire time because there was no reception and the phone calls from the boat were expensive so we faught abit about it when he got home but really he does seem like a very loyall kindof guy and I know he never has and doubtfully would ever cheat on some one hes not that kindof guy but recently another friend is geting married and hes back on a house boat for the weekend on another bachelor party.. I heard from a friend they were gana have girls on the boat and when I asked him he said no and swear up and down there wasn't so he called me right when he got on the boat but now his phone is off its been of all day and night and hes on a local river so Im pretty sure there is reception. Its not that I think hes cheating on me but its the fact I feel like Im being lied to.. are there girls there, hes going to tell me theres not reception but I dont think I belive him I think he just turned his phone off. And Its also bothering me that he isn't jealouse at all about what im doing am I out or what, its like he doesnt even care what Im doing while hes gone. Am I over reacting or is he doing something wrong?

Answer
Hi, Erin. I do believe that you shouldn't make a big deal out of that one incident if everything else makes you happy about your boyfriend and he a good guy otherwise. Bachelor parties are known to be... what they are and... I am sure you boyfriend doesn't attend those every week. People party and get out of control at such events - that's what they are about. So... don't make a big deal out of such isolated incidents.

With regard to him not being jealous - there are two possibilities - he is either indifferent to you and your relationship or he is incredibly confident and trusting of you. Only you know, in light of all other circumstances and facts of your relationship, which one out of the two possibilities applies. If it's the latter, you are a lucky woman. If it's the former, then... you should reconsider having that relationship in the first place.

Thanks, and I hope this helps. If not, please follow up. And if you found my answer helpful, please rate me on this site and comment on my work.
