Question my partner and i split and he took an 18 year old for a drink(40 mins in total as he realised it was me he wanted)we are now back together andhe is still texting her and he has even used another mans phone to text her as he knows i will be upset,he said he wants to let her down gently as she fell for him what do i do?

Whether those are his real intentions or not, his strategy is not the best. There is no way around upsetting that woman and the quicker / sharper he does it the better off everyone will be. But not having what it takes to just break it off, he will cause more pain to her and to you. Dragging thigns that are supposed to end is never a good idea. So... the sooner he finishes things with her, assuming that those are his true intentions, the better off everybody will be, including that other woman.
