hello sir,
  i feel jealous while people got great achievements. in my batch of java developers there were 28 developers. i am amongst top 10. out of 28, 20 developers got new job in bigger companies and with a very handsome package. talking about knowledge and command over skill sets i feel that i am better than those developers. i think that they dont deserve such achievements. on their success i dont feel good towards them. i know that i was jealous on such occassions but i dont know the reason. kindly help me in sorting out the reason for my jealousy.

Hey, Amit. Thanks for your question. Experiencing this kind of jealousy is a rather common problem. The key to overcoming it is in realizing that comparing yourself to others is pointless, useless and harmful. The reality is that there is always someone who is doing better in one way or another. But you should compete against yourself and do the best YOU can. Instead of wondering whether your colleagues are not as good as you are and that they don't deserve the success they get, try to learn from them what makes them so successful and combine your superior skill with their skills that make them do well to improve your own work and value to the market.
