About Dale
Expertise
I can answer questions about marriage, sex, relationships, divorce, and a multitude of sub-catagories related to each of these. I will / can sugar coat answers if you want but often times a hard truth is the best truth of all. I am not a doctor nor do I have a degree but my life experiences as a helper / counselor can be of assitance here. Please provide as much information about your situation as possible to make answering your questions easier. The more information that you provide, the easier it is to understand all aspects of the issue. Remember that all the Experts here are more than happy to take the time and answer your questions. It would be greatly appreciated if you would take the time to read the answers and rate the Expert as you see fit.

Experience
My experiences here are broad. Be them personal or as a counselor for the military overseas. I have either seen, done, or been a part of countless issues that I see posted on these forums.

Organizations
I work in Europe so I can answer questions during off hours. Meaning that I will check my box at around 7:30am Central European Time (that would be 1:30am EST, 10:30pm PST) and answer questions as they come in. If you're writing a question at night and want an answer when you wake up, I am likely the one for you. I also check my box early in the morning and a couple times in the evenings.

Education/Credentials
None, everything that I have to offer is experience based.

How to Deal with Sex Problems - Erections

Question
Recently I got a girlfriend and any time where involved in any kind of touching, even something as innocent as holding hands or putting my arm on her shoulder, i get a hard-on, when i spend exstended of periods of time with my chick i have an erection the whole time, and when i come home, my johnson and boys are in pain. Since we just started dating we aren't going to be having any kind of sex for a while, and i have this problem regardless of whether i've masterbated or not. Even thoughts of my girlfriend can spark a hard-on. My question is, is this normal ? and is there any techniques i could do to become flaccid again? and do u have any relevant information on this subject that could be helpful ?

Answer
Hello Cidioyus

Yes, this is perfectly natural.  No offence intended, but it seems like you're fairly young.  Being young, you lack the ability to control your erections.  This is normal, my friend.  I would suggest that you masturbate right before seeing her.  If, during the course of your date, you start getting hard again, excuse yourself to the bathroom and relieve yourself (quietly, of course).  This should hold you over for a couple of hours again.  That, or you could try and concentrate on something that is unattractive and non-sexual (like maybe your grandmother?).

It can take some time before you can have complete control over your erections.  Living in Europe, I can go to a co-ed sauna filled with beautiful women and not have an erection unless I want to (but that would get me ejected from the facility!!).  Penis control comes with time, Cidioyus.

Best regards,

Dale
