i'm 27. i was a virgin until last November (2005) it was a one
night stand and during sex i lost my erection and was unable to
finish the job. she was great about it. but obviously i was gutted.
2 months ago i met a girl and we are very much in love but i
have been unable to maintain an erection whilst with her. i have
been unable to get an erection during masturbation and seem to
have lost the ability to get horny. i used to have occasions where
i would look forward to beign alone and being able to have a
w**k. now that never occurs. when i'm with my girlfriend she
manages to get me 95% erect but whenever we attempt sexual
intercourse or she gives me a hand job my erection weakens and
we are unable to have sex. also considering i am/was a virgin i
find it a little strange that i appear to have the ability to hold
back and not come until i want to or even have to force myself
with sexual thoughts to finish. this is when my girlfriend is
giving me a hand job which she has completed on several
occasions. we have not howevre had sex to orgasm. any help on
my situation would be gretaful, or if you need any more
information on my background. thanks a lot i look forward to
hearign from you.

ps. i've seen my GP and she has told me to book a blood test,
but apart from that carried out no tests that i have read about
on the internet.

it's a process of elimination to find the cause; i'd start by seeing an endocrinologist to evaluate hormone levels/medical issues; next, counseling with someone specializing in sexual issues; also, check out justasktoday.com and webmd.com, search "erectile dysfunction"..
