Question
Hello, i would like to know: What is considered safe sex?? like for example what are some things you should do to protect yourself from diseases or pregnancies??

also, it is less likely that a women will get pregnant if the man ejaculated outside the women while wearing the condum???

Answer
Hi Kim,

What can you do to protect yourself from STIs and pregnancy ? There is PLENTY of things you can do. First to avoid pregnancy there is a lot of contraception methods you can use, be it a female or male condom, the pill, the diaphragm, a cervical cap, what have you. You can ask your doctor/gyn more about this.

As for STIs, the condom is the best thing to use. Avoiding the use of spermicides can also reduce your risk of STIs to a certain extend. Also it's important for you and your partner to get tested annually for STIs.

As for your other question, if the guy ejaculated in the condom and it did not rip or tear, then no, this doesn't put the women at risk for pregnancy.

Take care,
Maggie.
