Answer
Hi Asoka,

Indeed dementia is difficult to treat. But there are a lot of things you can do nutritionally. First of all many people with with dementia are hypoglycaemic (http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/2011/what-is-hypoglycemia/)

This can be treated by going on a hypoglycemic diet (http://www.hypoglycemia.asn.au/2011/the-hypoglycemic-diet/).

Then there are other things you can you do. Go to the following Index and look up “dementia” and Alzheimer’s Disease”at:
https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1sKYIT2wfJquvtHQNuCGRp78eeuOFE915cw9-cWhCVLw

Also look up  Alzheimer’s Disease at
http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/alzheimers.htm

Please discuss these options with a nutritional doctor.

I hope I have been helpful.
