I agree with both ladies. I am a busy and tired mom of two little kids, but even before kids I was very conscious of other people's space and time. I would get a vibe right away when it's time to leave. I now joke openly that " I am stingy with my personal space and time"... As I am getting older I am getting better at drawing boundaries and appearing "rude". It's still not easy, but I simply don't have energy to accommodate everyone's needs. As everything else, it's all about boundaries and can't control how you are perceived by others...
