Question I run a cleaning business that has been in existance for almost 20 years. Last month an employee was let go mutually because she said that she had found another job as a nanny. Its been a week now since she has been gone and about 5 of our long time clients have canceled. Employees that have work for us have told us that she is taking jobs away from us and that another employee is helping her do so. Is there any type of legal action I can take on the employee that has left and the employee who is helping her? Thank you.
Answer Hi Lizbeth: I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you. Unfortunately, I think a legal expert would be of greater help to you as I am not as qualified to answer this type of question. I do think you have some rights; but I defer to another legal expert on this site.
