Question
Good Morning....HELP...I have a dark green carpet in livingroom as well as dinning room...open floor plan but separated by archway..sofa and 1 chair is gold, other chair is green (darker than carpet)I desperately need help selecting paint colors for these 2 rooms..I would like to stay away from cream, beige and white as the walls are now white...I really can not afford to purchase a new livingroom set at this time and my husband does not like slip covers. I WANT SOME COLOR. Thank you

Answer
Hi Joy,
You do not have to go with white or beige.  I can give you plenty of color options.
Complementary Color Scheme = Green/Red
Split Complementary = Green/Red Orange/Red Violet or Green/Yellow/RV
Triad = Green/ Violet/Orange

See how many choices you have.  The color schemes start with your furniture, add a color of your choice to the walls, and complete with the third color in accessories, art, pillow, etc.  Have fun.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
